Overcome anxiety, improve relationships, and find peace through expert therapy
Every individual carries a unique story. To honor that, I blend conventional clinical methods with alternative approaches, drawing on a variety of styles to suit your specific goals. My work is grounded in neuro-psychotherapy and attachment healing, ensuring we are working with the brain’s natural ability to rewire and repair.
To help North Carolina & Oklahoma clients resolve both current challenges and long-standing patterns, I regularly incorporate:
- Healing Memories: Safely processing past events to reduce their current power.
- Ego State & Parts Work: Understanding the different aspects of your personality to create internal harmony.
- Somatic Therapy: Releasing stored tension and trauma from the body.
- Solution-Focused Therapy: Providing supportive, practical feedback to help you achieve tangible life goals.
Insurance: Upon request, I can provide a Superbill for you to be reimbursed directly from your insurance provider. This involves paying for therapy services at the time of service, and you would submit a claim to your insurance provider for direct reimbursement.

Anxiety & Depression Therapy
Anxiety & Depression Therapy is a form of mental health treatment designed to help people manage symptoms of anxiety disorders and depressive disorders, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier thinking and behavior patterns. It provides a structured, supportive space where individuals can better understand the thoughts, emotions, and life experiences that contribute to distress, and work toward meaningful change.
Therapy often focuses on identifying unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns, such as excessive worry, self-criticism, or catastrophic thinking, and replacing them with more balanced and realistic perspectives. It may also include learning practical coping strategies to manage stress, reduce avoidance behaviors, and improve daily functioning.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma Therapy is a form of mental health treatment that helps individuals process and recover from distressing or overwhelming experiences. It focuses on reducing the emotional and psychological impact of trauma symptoms, including flashbacks, anxiety, emotional numbness, and hypervigilance.
Through evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), or talk therapy, individuals learn to safely explore traumatic memories, reframe negative beliefs, and regain a sense of safety and control. The goal is to support healing, improve emotional regulation, and help individuals rebuild their sense of stability and well-being.
Relationship Therapy (In-Person Sessions)
Relationship Therapy is a form of counseling that helps individuals or partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional connection. It provides a supportive space to explore relationship challenges such as trust issues, recurring arguments, emotional distance, or differences in needs and expectations.
The goal is to build more supportive, balanced, and satisfying relationships, whether between romantic partners, family members, or others, while fostering healthier communication and long-term connection.

Testimonials
"This is the first time in my life that I have felt this. It's the best feeling I've known so far! AND I OWE IT TO YOU!!! I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I feel that. Your help has been so incredibly instrumental in my life. I'd prefer to not even speculate as to where I'd be without your time and wisdom, but I'd imagine it might be a very different life. I feel like I literally see the world differently as a result of a way of thinking that you introduced."
"Leta's counseling and getting me into qigong has helped me tremendously. Her use of EMDR opened a door for me that I continue to use today. I also found other techniques to help me manage the PTSD I experience. Continuing what she started I have come to be myself and expand into a new self. Leta's expertise I would recommend to everyone in need."
"As a Vietnam Veteran with PTSD, I sought assistance in dealing with the aftermath of the war. 'In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into a flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.' Leta was that person for me." The inner quote is by Albert Schweitzer."
